Sarai Grace + Wesley Smith | Elegant Sweet January Wedding | Memphis, TN
The forecast called for rain all day… the sun showed up instead. Sarai Grace and Wesley’s wedding was emotional, sweet and perfectly them. In the wise words of Olaf, the snowman, “Love is putting someone else’s needs before yours. Some people are worth melting for.” These two do just that. This wedding was full of tears, hugs, excitements and so many sweet moments between Sarai Grace, Wesley, their parents and siblings. Also, we don’t think there will be another wedding where the whole wedding (parties, guests and family) jammed out to Disney songs! It was such a fun and full of heart wedding. We were so honored to be apart of it. • We love you both so dearly!
At the end of this blog post we attached Sarai Grace + Wesley’s wedding video that our friends, Gaby + Kevin Stephens, from 2cVideography did of their wedding day! Enjoy. It made all of us emotional reliving that day!

Mr. + Mrs. Hadskey | Opening Day of Duck Season Wedding | Mallard's Croft Bhaylia, MS
Opening day of Duck Season Kathy and John got married at Mallard's Croft. The weather was perfect. Kathy and John were so relaxed and excited for each moment they were about to encounter. Instead of us talking we'd love for you to read Kathy and John's words about their wedding day and love. We will say, in closing, that the song that pulled everyone to the dance floor was "Friends in Low Places!" When that song was played... things got crazy wild! We love Kathy and John so much!
Kathy and John! Y'all get married again! LOL!
Enjoy,
Jo + Peter

"Oooh my heart !! It truly was the sweetest day. John and I loved every second of it. It was everything and more than we could have ever asked for. John asks me all the time, “can we get married again?” We would go back and do it all over again the same exact way in a heartbeat !!
We got married on opening day of hunting season, which was a test for John since he is an avid hunter. John just had one request, since he is missing opening day he wanted to get married at Mallards Croft. So, we made it happen!! Wedding day started with sipping mimosas and getting pampered with my girls. John and I started writing our letters that we would exchange and read later that day. I felt so relaxed, I wasn’t anxious or nervous. I just remember truly enjoying the morning getting ready. The letters John and I exchanged had us both ugly crying. We wrote about our love towards each other, how far we have come in our relationship, and how excited we were about becoming husband and wife!!
The ceremony started around 4pm and God showed out with the most beautiful backdrop. The sun was gleaming on the big wooden cross that we got married in front of. John and all of his groomsmen were grinning ear to ear as the mallard ducks quacked in the back ground from the pond near by. At times, I didn’t know if John was paying attention to me or the ducks! My favorite part of the day was getting to walk down the aisle to John. I remember thinking to myself “I am so lucky” as I walked toward him. There is no one else I adore or cherish more than John. I love that man more each day and I am so blessed that he chose me to build a forever life with him. My grandfather officiated the wedding, which meant so much to us. I will always hold that moment close to my heart. John and I chose to water an oak tree for our unity and later planted the tree in our yard at home. We loved that idea since now we will be able to watch it grow as our marriage grows over many many years.
Then the party started!! Our reception was so much fun!! Our friends and family sure know how to get down and have a dang good time!! The food, cake, and music were all around a 10/10. John and I didn’t want the night to end. We spent majority of our time on the dance floor showing off our dancing skills we both didn’t know we had! We might be a little biased but we always say our wedding was the best wedding we have ever been to!! Thanks to everyone who was apart of our day, it wouldn’t have been as perfect without each of you.
We are so grateful to Jo + Peter for photographing our wedding day. They captured our day perfectly and we are so thankful to have these pictures to look back on throughout the years. We love you guys!!
Lots of love,
Mr. And Mrs. Hadskey 💓"
